Community Voices in Action

The Community Voices in Action was established in 2022 to address the specific factors that cause food insecurities Pemiscot County, Mo. The CVA used System Dynamic – Group Model Build to address the systemic factors by listening to the needs and concerns of the residents at every level: children, single mothers, two-parent households, and elderly as well as caretakers. The CVA has been able to include community garden expansion, development of a Local Chamber of Commerce. Other ideas that are being designed include, non-for-profit Produce Market, Activity Centers, and more.
